中霞于 1998 年荣获蚬壳石油公司颁发的艺术新秀奬。随而步入全职绘画工作的旅程。她考获人民协会美术导师资格后立即开始在人协旗下各联络所及多个社区的居委会、365防癌中心与飞跃家庭辅导中心担任美术导师至今长达二十多年。
除此她也是国家艺术理事会的特许公众场合肖像漫画艺术家。经常在各大机构和社团所举办的活动中给来宾创作肖像漫画。
推广艺术及培养新秀不遗余力的她在2018年成立了《快乐写生》绘画团队。会员人数逐渐增至现今的八十多位。每逢周末队员们都积极到全岛各处去写生。
